Melissa doesn't always smile :-D

This picture was taken after a make-up class I attended, so yeah, I did her make-up. Then took 10 minutes to take some pics of the result. Used my €50 secondhand flash on a tripod ;)
Appearantly I did a reasonable job on the make-up bc I didn't photoshop anything on her skin.

What? No, I just took one class to learn some basics I'm nowhere near a professional make-up artist! I just did this so I can do make-up on my models when there is nog mua available.
Start learning the basics first (being able to do a good natural make-up is way more important than doing extreme stuff) and work with some skilled photographers. You can put on a great make-up but a photographer can totally screw it up when he uses bad light...

My course goes for a whole year and I'm still doing the theory part of it at the moment sadly, so I've got a fair bit to go through before I get any results lol

Just theory? Well, at least you'll have a good basis when you actually start to use your brushes. Just never forget to put some feeling and passion in it as well ;)
